Support Our School  Many Ways Click the headings for more information about each way to support our school Spirit Wear - Suntree Shirts Get in the Spirit! Purchase and wear Suntree's Spirit Wear. We have polo shirts in a variety of colors. Each shirt has Suntree's new logo nicely embroidered on the front. The shirts are 65/35 poly/cotton pique. Prices: $15 adults, $13 Youth. Suntree Elementary Inaugural Golf Tournament - October 24, 2010 Many levels of participation. Come join in the fun while helping to support Suntree's 21st Century Learning Projects and Enrichment Opportunities. Computer Donations Suntree Elementary School follows the procedures set forth by the district. Computer donations must follow these suggestions to help us stay in compliance with software copyright laws, and to screen out older/obsolete equipment that does not positively support our technology needs. Science Inquiry Room Suntree Elementary School has established a Science inquiry Room that will be part of our activity wheel rotation. Science is a very resource intensive discipline and requires lots of materials - especially for a hands-on program. Donations of materials are welcomed to meet our ongoing needs in the lab. Tennis Balls Suntree Elementary School is in need of used tennis balls. The tennis balls are placed on the feet of our student tables and chairs. This preserves the finish on the tile floors and also helps to reduce noise in our classrooms. You may drop them off in the front office. Boxtops For Education Suntree Elementary School continues to participate in the Boxtops For Education program offered by General Mills. You can help by saving boxtops from designated General Mills and Betty Crocker products. Send the boxtops with your kids, or just drop them off in our front office. Here are the products you can use to clip boxtops. Labels For Education Suntree Elementary School continues to participate in the Labels For Education program offered by Campbell Family of brands. You can help by saving labels from designated Campbell Family of brands products. Send the labels with your kids, or just drop them off in our front office. Here are the products you can use to clip labels. SchoolMall SchoolMall.com is an online shopping mall where over 200 nationally-known online merchants have agreed to give a percentage of sales to K-12 schools. Companies like Walmart.com, Sears, Target, DisneyStore.com, and Oriental Trading Company participate. SchoolMall is a great way to support your school when you shop at your favorite online merchants. This is an on-going program which gives our school up to 50% of any online purchases through Schoolmall.com. Newspaper Recycling Program Suntree Elementary School's 4th grade class is leading the newspaper recycling program. Send in your old newspapers to help us earn money for 4th grade activities. ETCEP (Ink/Toner Cartridge & Cell Phone Recycling) Suntree Elementary School earns cash through this cartridge recycling. Empty printer ink/laser cartridges & cell phones earn points, which are exchanged for cash. For the community's convenience, the cartridge drop-off site has been set up in the Suntree Elementary School office. More drop-off sites may be added later. Start saving those empty cartridges & phones now. Businesses may register to assist us in this program, or they may just send in the empty cartridges to our school. Registering for this program will not cost you anything! Office Depot "Back To Schools" Program Office Depot offers support to our school through the "5% Back to Schools" Program. This program gives you an opportunity to help our school receive credits for FREE supplies when you shop at Office Depot for student school supplies. Just Designate our school to receive 5% of your qualifying purchase (ID#: 70022361) the next time you shop at Office Depot. Target's Take Charge Of Education Program Suntree Elementary School gets a 1% donation from Target on any purchases made at Target stores or Target.com when you use their Target Visa or Target Card. They will even donate 1/2% if you use the Target Visa for purchases elsewhere. |
