Requirements
We accept donations in compliance with district criteria.
We ONLY accept complete working computer systems that are less than 5 years old.
You MUST be able to verify the age of the computer system. (we may be able to assist).
The operating system (OS) and official license MUST be transferred with each computer system donated.
Preferences
Over the last several years, we have converted to the PC/Windows platform. Donations of modern computer systems in this platform are greatly appreciated if they meet our standards.
We will accept newer Macintosh computers (Intel processor with OS 10.5.x or higher).
We have a Windows 2008 based network. We can accept devices that can support that network infrastructure.
We do not accept ink jet printers as they are too costly to operate (ink cartridges).
We only accept networkable (ethernet) laser printers (preferably HP or Lexmark).
General Info
If you would like to use your donation for tax purposes, please print and submit the Brevard Schools Foundation Gift In Kind Form to the Brevard Schools Foundation. They will provide you with instructions for delivering the donated equipment. Suntree Elementary School cannot supply a tax letter.
Finally
We GREATLY appreciate your generosity. Your kindness will help to enhance our technology inventory.
We have the right to refuse any donation for any reason. Please don't be offended if we are unable to use the item you are offering.
