Kindergarten Pre-registration 2012-2013 Kindergarten Pre-registration Pre-registration for Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year is April 9-13, 2012. Children entering kindergarten for the first time must comply with Florida Statute 1003.21 regarding age, which states a child must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2012. All children who will be six (6) years old by February 1, must attend school regularly during the entire school term. To register a child for kindergarten, parents must provide the following: Proof of Age (birth certificate or acceptable evidence/documentation) Compulsory Immunizations (to include 5 DTP / DTaP, 4 Polio (if 4th dose given after 4th birthday) or 5 Polio (if 4th dose given before 4th birthday), 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis, 2 Varicella (or verification of Chicken Pox) Physical Examination (performed within one year prior to the date of entry) (Any student who does not have their immunizations, or a proper exemption on the basis of medical or religious grounds, will not be enrolled in school until fully compliant.).
