Miles for Myles 5K Family Fun Run/Walk

Myles Freeberg was a Scholar Athlete at Viera High School. He died on July 8, 2010 from injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred on his way to have his senior picture taken. Six months later, the Miles for Myles 5K became a wonderful gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life and to help with the healing process. This year, the Myles Freeberg Foundation continues to celebrate his life and raise funds for internships and scholarships in his memory.

Lance and Myles Freeberg attended several area schools namely: Suntree Elementary, Longleaf Elementary, Johnson MS, Eau Gallie HS and Viera HS. Tom and Kathy Freeberg, their parents, have been involved at the schools. Competitive soccer teammates extend from Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr HS to West Shore Jr/Sr HS and beyond.
